Colton Cichoracki is an award-winning meteorologist who has spent most of his career working in Michigan and he is excited to join the Fox 17 Weather Team.
Colton is from the east side of the state, Port Huron. He earned his meteorology degree from Central Michigan University and also holds an associate's degree from St. Clair County Community College. Colton also serves on the board of directors for the Michigan chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Colton's passion for weather began when he was just four years old. While some kids were watching cartoons, Colton was watching The Weather Channel growing up. He loves snow and winter but also enjoys forecasting severe and tropical weather.
Colton's career began in St. Joseph, Missouri and he later worked in Flint and Lansing before moving to Grand Rapids.
Outside of work, he loves watching hockey (Go Griffins and Red Wings), football, and baseball. You will see him out at local breweries and around town at the many different restaurants in the area.
