After 18 years spent as FOX 17's morning traffic anchor and reporter for Walker, Northview and Comstock Park, Robb Westaby put down the microphone for the last time on April 18, 2026.

FOX 17's Robb Westaby retires after nearly 52 years in broadcasting and two decades at the station

Robb joined FOX 17 in 2008 as the station's competent roads scholar, delivering updates on traffic, road construction, and infrastructure projects as part of FOX 17 Morning News. In 2025, he moved to a role as full-time reporter.

FOX 17 marked Robb's 50 years in broadcasting in 2024.

Born and raised in Southern California, he’s a Dodger fan, but he doesn’t surf and has never been in the movies. He did meet a few movie stars out there.

His first car was a 1966 Barracuda, but it sounds cooler than it was, due to dents provided by the previous owner.

As a driver, he adheres strictly do his ‘five-over’ rule: never drive more than five miles per hour over the speed limit.
