ROCKFORD, Mich -- Grandville (5-0) meets Rockford (3-2) in the game of the week on the Blitz for week six. The Bulldogs have outscored their opponents by 200 points through five weeks, Rockford has won three straight following a week two loss at Lowell.
"We started off a little slow but we just keep building, that is out mentality" senior wide receiver Nate Anderson said. "Having these three wins gives us the momentum going to a big week like this, we are more than ready."
Grandville has lost 13 straight meetings with Rockford including two last year. The Bulldogs haven't score more than 7 points in a game against the Rams since 2009.
"I have a tremendous amount of respect for coach Munger, his coaching staff and program, the way they do things and the success they've had you have to give them credit for that" Grandville head coach Eric Stiegel said. "There is no team that we want to beat more than Rockford and we know that the OK Red has traditionally gone through them."
Hamilton (5-0) hosts Byron Center (4-1) in the Blitz Battle. These schools are part of a three-way tie for first place in the OK Green with Unity Christian. The Hawkeyes have been impreesive this season after winning just 4 combined games the previous three years. Byron Center is coming off it's first win over Zeeland West since 2009.
