WEST MICHIGAN — Consumers Energy crews are getting closer to complete restoration of power for all customers following back-to-back episodes of severe weather late last week. As of this morning, fewer than 15,000 Consumers Energy customers remain without power.
Most Consumers Energy customers should have power restored by the end of the day today.
It has been a tremendous workload, as the storms knocked out power to nearly 300,000 customers.
