GRAND RAPIDS — The forecast from FOX 17 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Craig: A weak trough of low pressure swinging through the area from west to east Friday into Saturday will bring a few snow showers -- possibly mixed with rain at times -- to the area. The precipitation looks light and afternoon highs will be a few degrees above freezing both days. Therefore, travel impacts look pretty minor with this "event". Expect a ridge of high pressure to deliver unseasonably warm temperatures Sunday and Monday, but more winter-like conditions are expected by the middle of next week.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s. Light southeast wind becoming calm.
TOMORROW: Cloudy skies. A few light snow showers possible. Highs in the mid 30s. South winds at 5 to 10 mph.
TOMORROW NIGHT: A few snow showers possible. Mostly cloudy with lows around 30. South to southwest winds around 5 mph.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy. A chance of light rain and snow showers. Minor accumulations possible on grassy surfaces. Highs in the mid to upper 30s. Southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny and mild. Highs in the mid 40s.
