BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — Tony Annese has always focused on West Michigan during recruiting and that's especially true this season as Ferris State brings in eleven from the area.
"Our staff did an extraordinarily good job getting West Michigan kids," Annese said. "We did a really good job in the Grand Rapids and Muskegon areas."
The Bulldogs will bring in 37 signees in the period but Annese says recruiting starts close to campus.
"It's always a big priority to win the west side of the state," he added, "and we feel we did a great job of that."
Ferris State's signings come from several different states including five from Florida.
"All in all, we did great in Michigan, but we feel wonderful about the class, everyone that came in from out of state as well," added Annese.
