Mona Shores trailed Traverse City Central 24-14 at halftime in the Division 2 state semifinal on Saturday. That's when Brady Rose happened.

The Mr. Football candidate and Sailors senior recorded two interceptions, one for a touchdown and accounted for five total touchdowns in the Sailors 43-30 victory.

The Sailors advance to face Warren De La Salle on Friday at 1:00 PM at Ford Field as they look for a second consecutive state championship.
