Priority Health to waive all member cost sharing for coronavirus treatment

Priority Health announcing Thursday they will waive all member cost sharing for coronavirus treatment until June 30th.

According to Priority Health, they will waive all copays, deductibles and coinsurance for their members.

Priority Health also says they will be covering the cost of physician-ordered covid-19 testing, expanding free telehealth for coronavirus screening and testing, and expanding free home medication delivery for all members with the largest pharmacies in the state.

“We are committed to ensuring our members have access to the health care they need for COVID-19, when they need it without worrying about cost,” Joan Budden, President and CEO of Priority Health said in a statement. “These are unprecedented times, and we will do what is necessary to keep our members and communities safe.”

Priority Health encourages their members to use virtual health whenever possible to help prevent the spread of covid-19.
