MUSKEGON, Mich. — HealthWest clients and the general public will now be able to take advantage of new daily virtual groups as a way to promote mental well-being without needing to break stay-at-home directives.
HealthWest provides services in the Muskegon area, including a 24-hour mental health crisis line at 231-722-HELP (4357).
The virtual groups, however, is a new service in addition to the crisis line, and their scope will be broader. They will be offered on Zoom and Facebook Live.
“These groups will help people stay connected and encourage healthy habits during this crisis,” said HealthWest executive director Julia Rupp in a release.
The virtual groups are free to anyone.
