GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids resident Courtney Failer created a parody video of 'Part of Your World' in the Little Mermaid with lyrics relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Both of my cats don't understand why I'm home all day and night," she sang in the video.
Her post has well over 10,000 views on both Facebook and YouTube and has been a way to spread positivity in a tough time.
"I had so much fun with it and all the responses have been so positive and you know, this is a heavy time," Failer said. "There have been moments where it's been really heavy on me and I'm just trying to focus on day to day. Having a response that's so positive and hearing people say it put a smile on their face kind of makes me want to put more out there, so we'll see."
