The Wildcats were led by junior Orianna Bylsma who shot a team-best 81 while senior Katie Unger also added a chip for birdie in her round.

"it means everything," said Unger, "we've been working hard for this moment since June and it's just extra sweet."

The team's round of 343 is also a team-best this fall.

"We got a team PR so it's just extra sweet, me and Meg are seniors, it's legendary for sure, I can't wait until we get our names on the banners and trophies," Unger added.

And Bylsma adds that the team chemistry is the best part about the championship run.

"We're so close and it means the world to us to do it together and not just have one person carry the team but all of us contribute," Bylsma said, "this has never been done before, especially for girls golf, so it's a huge step forward for our program."
