GRANT, Mich -- Grant scored single runs in the bottom of the 7th and 8th innings to knock off rival Newaygo in the first game of a doubleheader. The Lions won the nightcap 9-2.
Both schools now stand at 7-5 in the Central State Activities Association Gold Division.
