Here are five things people are buzzing about for Tuesday, Nov. 1.
.) November 1 marks open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act.
.) Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) will be campaigning for Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in Kalamaoo on Wednesday. Sanders will be at Miller Auditorium on the campus of Western Michigan University at noon. Sanders will also head to Traverse City later in the day. Also on Wednesday, Donald Trump, Jr. will stump for his dad, Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, 4 p.m. at the Kirkhof Center at Grand Valley State University.
.) With the calendar flipping to November, that means odd-even parking restrictions begin in Grand Rapids. On the even-numbered dates, park on the even-numbered side of the street and vice-versa for the odd days. This enforcement period is between 1 a.m. to 6 p.m.
.) A Lowell man went all out for Halloween put on a spooktacular show for trick-or-treaters. Randall Miller and his family turned their home into a haunted house.
.) Game six of the World Series takes place tonight at 8 p.m. on FOX 17. Currently, the Cleveland Indians lead the series 3-2.
