For the past four years, Spartan Nash has teamed up with local humane societies for the "Feed Our Furry Friends" drive. There are 41 participating stores, so helping out is easy! From Oct. 24-30, you can pay-it-forward by heading to D&W, Family Fare or Forest Hills by purchasing dog and cat food, toys, treats and litter. When you check out, there will be a collection box at the front of participating stores.
In addition, for every donation of Spartan Nash brand food, the company will give back a 5 percent portion of sales to the Humane Society.
