EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The project that has kept Lake Drive in East Grand Rapids closed for several months is about to end.
Paving work is underway, which will be followed by application of pavement markings, which will all probably delay opening the street until Friday or this weekend.
The city asks that drivers resist the temptation to drive around barriers onto the new pavement until barriers are removed and the street is officially reopened for through traffic.
