GRANDVILLE, Mich. — Westbound drivers on I-196 in Grandville will not be able to exit to M-11 28th Street beginning June 6. The ramp, which splits from westbound I-196 from the left lane and terminates at the intersection of 28th Street and Wilson Avenue, will close for the summer.

As a detour, drivers will need to continue westbound on I-196 and use Exit 69A, which is the exit to Chicago Drive eastbound. Go east into downtown Grandville, then north on Wilson Avenue to 28th Street.

The ramp should be reopened by September 1, according to the schedule posted by the Michigan Department of Transportation.
