Chocolate Salami - fun unique holiday treat from Tuscany

1/2 cup toasted silvered almonds
1/2 cup toasted walnuts or hazelnuts
3 plain biscotti (crushed)
6 tbsp butter
1 12 oz bag of semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup of strong coffee
Zest of half an orange

1/2 cup powdered sugar for dusting

Melt butter and chocolate chips in a double boiler.
Add coffee and orange zest.
Take off heat and wait 15 minutes.
Stir in the crushed biscotti and nuts.
Place Saran Wrap on 2 cookie sheets and divide mixture in half.
Use a spatula to place half mixture on top of the plastic wrap. Repeat with other half of mixture on 2nd cookie sheet
Put mixture into the cooler for 1 hour.
Slowly roll mixture into a salami shape by taking the Saran Wrap and rolling it.
Once you have the 2 salami rolls done- place them in the freezer for 1 hour.
Place powdered sugar in a small cookie sheet.
Take the chocolate salami out and roll them into the powdered sugar.
Slice and serve!
