Tanglefoot celebrates 24 years of art and history

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Tanglefoot 24, a celebration of 24 years of artist owned and operated creative businesses in Grand Rapids, is a unique celebration that is sure to excite art lovers of all ages. The free event will take place November 20 from 5 to 9 p.m. and November 22 from noon to 4 p.m.

Tanglefoot 24 will take place at 314 Straight Avenue NW, Door K, in Grand Rapids. Tommy Allen and Alynn Guerra will among the attending artists.

Allen is a photo-based artist and co-founder of the Allen + Pfleghaar Studio at Tanglefoot.

Guerra, a native of Mexico, is a print maker and an award-winning artist. Recently her work was featured on an Experience Grand Rapids billboard. Several years ago, her art was featured on a Festival for the Arts poster.

Both artists are a part of the city's longest running open studio events in the historic Tanglefoot building, the site of the Tanglefoot Flypaper product.
