PORTAGE, Mich. — A fully loaded semi tipped over while negotiating the ramp from eastbound I-94 to northbound US-131 in Portage Monday morning. The ramp was closed shortly after 9:30 a.m.
A photo taken at the scene by FOX 17 photojournalist Christopher Sage showed both the tractor and the trailer severely damaged, with the trailer’s load spilling out of the top of the trailer. While the rig was off the pavement, the ramp was closed to allow for equipment needed to remove the semi.
