PAW PAW, Mich. -- The Paw Paw Rocket Football program is offering a reward of $1,250 for help in finding the vandal who killed much of the grass on their football field. Sometime late last week, someone sprayed weed killer on the city-owned field, and by Monday the damage was evident, according to the Rocket Football Board Director Brad Newell.
The field is used by 170 youth players and, thanks to a local company, Roberts Landscaping, much of the damage was covered up with paint Wednesday morning. However, it won't be until next year that the field completely recovers.
