GALESBURG, Mich.-A Galesburg resident is without his truck after it was stolen right out of his driveway earlier this week. It was missing Monday morning when Matt Ritchie went out to his driveway, but was recovered in a rural part of Vicksburg early Tuesday. According to Ritchie, the 1999 Chevy Truck that now sits at the Kalamazoo County evidence lot, is virtually trashed inside and out.
Some items were stolen from inside, and the ones that remain, Ritchie plans to replace like his three kids' car seats. What's even more disturbing to Ritchie is that this appears to be more than just a joy ride or a monetary theft, as the thief defecated on his driveway. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department told Fox 17 news, as of Tuesday afternoon they had no suspects. As for Ritchie, he's not sure if he will get his truck back or whether it will be totalled out by his insurance company, and he said, he's not sure he wants the truck back now.
