EAST LANSING — Unionville-Sebewaing pitcher Nicole Bauer threw a complete game 1-hitter to beat Kalamazoo Christian, 5-0, in the division 4 softball state championship Saturday at Michigan State’s Secchia Stadium.
Sophomore pitcher Aliyah Lemmer had the Comets only hit, a single in the 5th inning. Lemmer pitched a complete game allowing 7 hits, 5 runs, all earned, didn’t walk anybody and struck out 3.
Kalamazoo Christian finishes the season at 29-15.
