MARTIN, Mich. — The bridge replacement project at M-222 over US-131 in Martin has been finished six weeks early, with the bridge reopened Friday.
The bridge was completed two weeks early, and the related road work was finished six weeks early, said the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The schedule was to have the work done before the B-93 Birthday Bash, which requires access to US-131 Speedway grounds nearby. The weekend music event is scheduled for June 13 and 14.
