HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — Officials at Hudsonsville Public Schools say a call into their district late Tuesday morning with an off campus threat caused the high school and the freshman campuses to be locked down for over two hours.
During the lock down normal activities took place inside the schools with the outside doors locked.
Jenison Public High School was later added to the lock down as a precautionary procedure due to their location, but no threat was made against their school district.
After the investigation officials said the threat was not credible.
Hudsonville Public Schools’ Superintendent Nick Ceglarek commends the school staff and the Ottawa County Sheriff Department for their quick action in handling the situation.
