KENTWOOD, Mich — It has been a quite a ride this season in the OK Red, and it’s a long way from over. Tonight, Rockford (6-1) meets East Kentwood (6-1) in our game of the week, with a win the Rams can clinch a share of a 6th consecutive Red title, but if the Falcons win they pull even with one week to play.

It’s been 10 years and 11 meetings since East Kentwood last beat Rockford back in 2003. Rockford has won games this season by 1, 3 and 6 (in overtime) points this season, all 3 of Kentwood’s league games have been decided by seven points or less. A close game seems likely tonight.

The Blitz Battle will be Lowell (7-0) at Caledonia (5-2), the Fighting Scots have won three consecutive games and won them rather easily. The Red Arrows are alone in first place in the OK White, but a Caledonia win tonight would pull the Scots even with one week to play.

We will also feature Zeeland West (7-0) at Byron Center (6-1) with the winner clinching a share of the OK Green title. The Dux have won the last three Green titles and has been scoring in bunches once again this season. The Bulldogs have also been lighting up the scoreboard as of late, this one may have no shortage of points.

Other games you can see on the Blitz tonight from 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. include:
