LOWELL, Mich. — Planned weekend lane closures on I-96 in eastern Kent County are likely to cause backups for eastbound and westbound drivers.

- Eastbound one lane closed from one mile west of M-50 Alden Nash Avenue to the Ionia County line
- Friday 8 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m., August 15-18

- Westbound one lane closed from the Ionia County line to the Segwun Avenue overpass.
- Friday 8 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m., August 15-18
M-37 Broadmoor Avenue
- Northbound and southbound lane closures between 44th Street and 60th Street SW
- Friday 7 p.m. to Sunday 5 p.m., August 15-17
Plainfield Avenue, Northland Drive, Wolverine Blvd
- Northbound and southbound lane closures north of Airway Street and south of Belding Road
- 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night through Sunday night, August 17
