COMSTOCK PARK, Mich (August 3, 2014) -- Andy Dirks walked three times in his third game of a rehab stint with the Whitecaps. The Tigers outfielder also stole a base and scored a run in the game.
The Whitecaps did lose to Fort Wayne on Sunday, 5-3.
Dirks is now 2-for-8 (.250) with 4 walks, a stolen base and a run scored in his three games with West Michigan.
Dirks will continue his rehab with the team as they head to Cleveland to play Lake County in a three game series that begins Monday.
