GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Feb. 28, 2014) — An editor at Nation’s Restaurant News has pointed to Johnny Brann, Jr.’s Kitchen 67 as a ‘breakout brand‘ in the restaurant business.
The restaurant was opened on the East Beltline as a deliberate departure from the popular Brann’s Steakhouse formula.
NRN senior Editor Mark Brandau described Kitchen 67 as featuring “Millennial-friendly flavors” and being “innovative in customer-facing technology.” Brandau is one of several top NRN staff asked to name their personal choices for breakout brands.
In addtion to expressing appreciation for the restaurant’s menu, Brandau especially noted Kitchen 67’s iTunes digital jukebox, iPads at each table, and wireless charging stations at each booth.
