DETROIT, Mich. — A star high school quarterback recruited by Michigan State University has been arrested for assaulting a security guard at his high school.
The incident was caught on video, according to WXYZ-TV, Detroit.
Jayru Campbell committed last spring to play for the Spartans. His arrest is not his first problem: he was already suspended for the first game of the 2014 season because he punched an opposing player after a high school playoff game.
