GRANDVILLE, Mich.- A sea of camouflage, blaze orange, fire pits and even a BBQ truck in the parking lot of Cabela’s in Grandville early Friday morning. All of this was a result of the Black Friday deals starting when doors open at 5 a.m.

The first 600 people in line will be given with free gifts totaling more than $8,700. Shoppers will get their chance at taking home a Browning rifle, GoPro camera, Nikon Range Finder, Masterbuilt Smoker, Bushnell Binoculars or a Cabela’s gift card worth up to $100.

Here’s how it all works:

The hundreds in line who qualify, must be 18 and older to get the mystery envelopes with information about their gift. The can pick it up immediately after the store opens. Those who win a firearm will be qualified to complete a standard federal background check, Cabela’s pointed out.

Customers in line definitely didn’t go hungry.Papa Joe’s Southern BBQ of Grandville offered up a full menu along with coffee, hot chocolate, donuts and lots of laughter. He was expecting to serve around 2,000 customers before the morning was over.
