Caramel Apple Dip:

  • (1) #10 GRPC Caramel Apple Dip
  • (1) 12 oz. can Evaporated Milk
  • (1) 14 oz. can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/4 cup Caramel Set

Before starting, make sure apples are washed and dried thoroughly and at room temperature. Remove lid or at least vent can. If you don’t, it may explode. Place can into double boiler with water halfway up can. Place on medium heat for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. Heat to 195 degrees, checking with candy thermometer. Stir, however, the more you stir, the more air bubbles will be created on apples. Add other ingredients, if you choose to do so and stir. When your dip reaches 195 degrees, it’s ready for dipping apples.
