MIDDLEVILLE, Mich.- Alpaca breeders from across the United States and Canada are inviting the public to their farm or ranch for National Alpaca Farm Days on September 28 and 29.
One of those places is Duncan Creek Farms, LLC, 5510 Stimson Rd, Middleville, owned by John and Carol Van Prooyen.
From 11 a.m. to 5p.m. guests can enjoy tours of the farm, petting the alpacas, observing the babies, carding & spinning fiber and seeing alpaca products from raw fleece to finish goods. There will also raw honey samples from the hives along with cider and donuts. Not to mention, there’s a wonderful collection of antique John Deere tractors on display.
