KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Police are seeking a man in his 40s who assaulted a 14-year-old girl Friday morning.
The girl was approached by the attacker in the 900 block of Bellevue in Kalamazoo around 7:08 a.m. He “dragged her into the woods and assaulted her,” said a report from Kalamazoo Public Safety.
The attacker let the girl go and hasn’t been seen since. The girl went home and called police.
The suspect is a white male in his 40s with brown hair with greying ends. A police dog was used in the search, but the suspect was not found.
