STANTON, Mich.- On Saturday, Sept. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., thousands of people will belly up for a free breakfast at Black Locust Farms, LLC, located at 5644 N. Derby Road. Michigan State University Extension held the first one back in 2009 and it’s been a hit ever since.
This year, Black Locust Farms, owned by brothers Jack and Tom Jeppesen, is one of only five farms in the state to host families. After they enjoy a delicious breakfast, attendees will be allowed to go behind the scenes to see how all of that yummy food gets to the table. There will also be fun, interactive activities for everyone!
While the breakfast is absolutely free, participants must have a ticket. To find out where you can get a ticket, please see the list here.
The next Breakfast on the Farm will be on Sept. 21, at Ferry Farms LLCin Litchfield.
