ROCKFORD, Mich. — Drivers on northbound US-131 must have been surprised Monday when typical speeds dropped to under 20 miles per hour in the middle of the day.
Lane closures for road work on northbound US-131 between 10 Mile and 14 Mile caused traffic to back up to Post Drive. That road work will continue until Thursday afternoon (8/29).
Traffic was also slowed on southbound US-131 from 17 Mile to 14 Mile for road work that is also scheduled through Thursday afternoon.
