STANTON, Mich.- Among the acres of apple trees, visitors to Anderson and Girls Orchards in Stanton will get quite a walk on the wild side.
Dozens of exotic animals, ranging from zebras to camels with two humps, all the way to prairie dogs and an arctic fox are on display.
Little by little, owner Terry Anderson, his wife and daughters, have turned their business, located on M-66 just north of Stanton, into a Montcalm County gem.
There is no charge for families to visit the exotic petting zoo. They rely only on donations.
Anderson and Girls is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with events scheduled throughout the year.
