DALLAS, Tex. — NuVision Pharmacy, which provides medicine products directly to health care providers, has issued a voluntary recall of some of its medicines.

The recall was issued due to concerns the medicines were made in conditions that were not appropriately sterile.

NuVision makes medical compounds and sells them to doctors’ offices. The recall applies to what are called lyophilized compounds, specifically HcG 5000IU-5ml and Sermorelin/GHRH6-5ml. Concerned patients are being told to contact their health care providers, while health care providers who use NuVision are advised to call the company at 800-914-7435.
