MUSKEGON, Mich — A fire ruined the first moments of 2013 for owners of two businesses in a strip mall.
The Little Caesars Pizza and the China Star Restaurant at Apple Avenue and Center Street in Muskegon Township were damage by a fire. Adjacent businesses suffered some smoke damage.
Calls to the fire department were first received around 12:46 a.m. Tuesday. It took crews about 30 minutes to get the fire under control, according to the Muskegon Township Fire Department.
