Whether it's a tradition your family has enjoyed for years or if you are looking to add a new one, Grand Rapids Symphony's Wolverine Worldwide Holiday Pops should surely be on that list! Your family can choose from six different performances from Dec. 5-8 at DeVos Performance Hall, 303 Monroe Ave. NW.

This year, the symphony will delight those in attendance with several new twists! When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a magical "Land of Sweets" created by pastry and baking students at Grand Rapids Community College's Secchia Institute for Culinary Education. While you enjoy the many photo ops it will provide, sip on complimentary hot chocolate. Live music in the lobby will get your ears all in tune, thanks to a high school musical ensemble.

Carpathia Jenkins, star of stage and screen will join the Grand Rapids Pops to sing, as well. Yes, you just might see a visit from Santa, too!

Excited to see a show? Here are a list of times and dates:

  • Thursday, Dec. 5 @7:30pm
  • Friday, Dec. 6 @10am and 7:30pm
  • Saturday, Dec. 7 @2pm and 7:30pm
  • Sunday, Dec. 8 @2pm
