(WXYZ) — The Detroit Lions are reportedly planning to interview Louis Riddick for the open GM position, according to Ian Rapoport.
The #Lions plan to interview GM candidate Louis Riddick for their vacant job on Friday, source said. The current broadcaster last worked in the NFL in 2013 in the #Eagles front office. The first known external candidate to be interviewed by Detroit.

Riddick is currently an ESPN analyst on Monday Night Football. He played in the NFL and then served as a Director of Pro Personnel for the Washington Football Team and Philadelphia Eagles
He's also reportedly the first external candidate to be interviewed by the Lions, and he's also reportedly interviewing for the open Houston Texans GM job.
On Tuesday, Detroit announced it was hiring former linebacker Chris Spielman to be a special assistant to the front office and said he would interview candidates for the head coach and GM.
