GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — McDonald’s has announced that Kobe Bufkin from Grand Rapids Christian High School has been selected into the roster for the 2021 All-American Games, according to SeyferthPR.
We’re told Bufkin’s selection is the latest in an age-old tradition that ushers in the next generation of legendary basketball players, which includes Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal and LeBron James, to name a few.
SeyferthPR says 48 high school seniors from across the country were selected, adding that the games will not be held this year due to the pandemic, but in the meantime, a virtual event is being scheduled to celebrate their accomplishments.
