KENTWOOD, Mich. — The Hudsonville hockey team beat East Kentwood, 8-2 on Friday night to improve to 5-3 on the season.
Eagles senior Drew Mulder led the Eagles with five goals on the night.
The win was important after an overtime loss to Grand Haven on Wednesday.
"The Grand Haven game was a tough one to lose," Mulder said, "we lost it within inches at the end. Tonight, we really bounced back, we all came together as a team and got the win."
And head coach Jason Caster was impressed with his senior's big game.
"He had a huge night," Caster added, "we made a switch of centers so he had a different center tonight with one dealing with an injury."
