Editor's note: Toriis blogging about rebounding from unemployment due to the coronavirus at My Rebound by FOX 17. She is back working as a bartender at the River Stop Saloon in Newaygo and as a cosmetologist at The Freckled Fawn in Fremont. She is married and lives in Fremont.

Wow. Coming to the end of another busy week. I was actually able to get out of work a little early this Thursday and spent the afternoon with my husband. That was pretty nice! Friday was just another typical day at the Freckled Fawn. I was booked all day, which is so great! Also, my younger sister had her baby very early on Friday morning, so that’s exciting news. I was pretty excited to finally meet him. So I was incredibly impatient to be done with work for the week. I worked a long bar shift Saturday and it was busy! We had a big lunch reservation and then a good lunch crowd so it kept me on my toes for my shift. It helped the shift go by faster, but I was definitely in bed by 9pm that night! HA!

FINALLY. Sunday. A DAY OFF. It felt like forever but I made it! I laid in bed longer than I should’ve and I took my time getting around for the day but I did make it to visit with some family and I even got to meet my newest nephew! I’m ending my Sunday with a short cruise to a Newaygo for some ice cream, and then we’re heading back home to relax before the week starts again. And now on to the next week full of more adventures!
