As a part of the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, the agency’s Pathfinder web site provides a wealth of online resources for students, parents, counselors, and job seekers.

While observing stay-at-home rules, it can be frustrating that so many workplaces are still closed, but down time just might be offer time enough to drill into a resource like Pathfinder.

For students, the site provides links to assistance in areas from writing a resume to search for internships and apprenticeships.

For parents, the site offers ways you can help your child get a leg up on applying for scholarships, applying to colleges, even considering becoming self-employed.

For counselors, the site offers resources to assist students become successful.

For job seekers, Pathfinder can help with finishing high school, information on exploring apprenticeships, etc.
