GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — See Fulton Street Farmers Market's opening day this morning with FOX 17.
Our digital journalist Jamie Smet was live from the Grand Rapids market for the start of its main season.
The market has posted a whole set of coronavirus-related guidelines for shoppers.
"We are taking extra precautions and following national guidelines to ensure that both our vendors and customers are safe," the market says.
Fulton Street Farmers Market, founded in 1922, says its role is "crucial" during this "unprecedented time."
"We remain open, so that we can continue to serve our community with fresh produce plus food products, while also continuing to support the viability of our farms and food businesses," the market says.
