Here's what will re-open and when in Michigan

The state of Michigan is beginning to reopen as the number of coronavirus cases continues to drop.

On Monday, June 8, restaurants and bars in the state were able to open with limited capacity, and last week, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced plans for even more businesses to open.

Whitmer did say she hopes to move the rest of the state into phase 5 in the coming weeks, possibly around the July 4 holiday.

It may be tough to keep track of what's opening and when, so we have a list of the types of businesses opening below.

June 8 - All of Michigan

Restaurants and bars - 50% capacity
Day camps for children
Public swimming pools
Outdoor parks and recreational facilities
Libraries and Museums
Outdoor fitness classes, athletic practices, training sessions, or games

June 10 - Regions 6 & 8 (Traverse City area and Upper Peninsula)

Movie theaters
Indoor climbing facilities
Bowling alleys
Outdoor concert spaces
Night clubs
Race tracks

June 15 - Rest of Michigan

Personal care services
Tattoo shops

What remains closed in Regions 1-5 and 7
