Biden is expected to make an announcement on his VP pick this week. The Democratic National Convention kicks off on Aug. 17.
California senator and former primary challenger Kamala Harris, former National Security Adviser Susan Rice and Iraq War veteran and Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth have also been eyed as possible VP picks.
