US-131 will be closed Monday night, Mar. 30, due to weather delay in demolishing the 100th Street bridge.
The freeway was scheduled to be closed at 100th St. in southern Kent County all last weekend, but a decision was made to delay that part of the project before the closure began on Friday.
Lane closures stayed in place, and will remain in place all day Monday.
The freeway will be closed from 6 p.m. Monday to 6 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 2, according to MDOT's MiDrive web site.
During that period, all traffic will be routed up and down the exit and entrance ramps northbound and southbound. Drivers will not be able to turn onto 100th St., and drivers on 100th St. will not be able to enter US-131.
