ASSOCIATED PRESS — Gabrielle Union and NBC both said Wednesday that they have had a “productive” first conversation on her firing from “America's Got Talent" and her allegations that she was removed for complaining about on-set racism and other behavior.
Union, who was removed as a judge after one season, tweeted Tuesday that the she was able to express her “unfiltered truth” and “desire and hope for real change” at the Monday meeting. NBC said in a statement that while more investigation is needed, the conversation was “candid and productive."
The guild that represents television performers is also working with Union to investigate.
