HICKORY CORNERS, Mich. — The Winter Motoring Meet will provide access to the Gilmore Car Museum’s indoor collection of classic vehicles alongside some scenic rides and other exhibits.
Those interested can take a ride on the Gilmore campus in antique cars/trucks provided by the museum, visit the exhibit of vintage snowmobiles, skate at the carving exhibition. Or enjoy outdoor games. Food and beverage accompanied by an outdoor fire will also be available with access to homemade soup, hot chocolate, winter beer, and wine.
“We’re excited to introduce a new outdoor winter event for folks who appreciate Michigan’s Winter Motoring season, whether in their cars, 4x4 trucks, Jeeps, or snowmobiles,” said Josh Russell, Executive Director of the Gilmore Car Museum. “It’s a fun way for us to get outside and enjoy the winter season, in an outdoor environment with plenty of room for everyone to remain socially-distanced.”
Winter Motoring Meet activities will run from 10am – 4pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021. Prices range from $11 to $16 with free tickets for Children and Active Military. Additional information can be found on the Gilmore Car Museum’s website or Facebook.
